Thyaagaraaja used to address Raama in all his Keerthanas in the singular. In the famous Keerthana “Raara maa intidhaaka”, he invites Raama in familiar terms to come to his house (after he had recovered the image of Raama from the Cauvery river). The familiarity is an expression of his devotion to Raama. You must look upon God as an “Old friend.” There is no greater friend in the world than God. God only looks at the purity of your loving devotion. Treat the universe as your text-book and your heart as your teacher. There will be no need to seek God elsewhere. All that devotees need to do is to use all their limbs and organs of perception to experience the Divine. Tulsidas used to lament that as long as he did not use his limbs to experience God he was a useless cripple. No devotee should allow his faith in God to weaken under any circumstances. Do not be misled into error and loss. The time, will soon comes when this huge building or even vaster ones will be too small for the gatherings of those who are called to this pace. The sky itself will have to be the roof of the Auditorium of the future. I will have to forego the car and even the aero plane when I move from place tp place, for the crowds pressing around them will be too huge; I will have move across the sky, yes, that too will happen, believe Me. You will witness Puttaparthi becoming Mathura (birth place of Lord Krishna). No one can stop this development or delay it. I will not give you up, not can any one of you give Me up. Even if you lose faith, you will repent and come to this refuge very soon, clamoring for admission. I shall be in this body for 58 years more; I have assured you of this already. Hari Naam Gaathe Chalo Let’s Sing With Energy and Let His Energy Make Us Sing In 1944, a group of families in Bengaluru who were all closely related to one another decided to congregate in one home every Thursday to do bhajans. So the bhajan session moved from one house to the other every week within that closed circle. After they had successfully done this for a year without any break, they wanted to celebrate their 54-week sadhana by doing a non-stop 24-hour bhajan. So they sent a message to Bhagawan seeking His blessings. He was so delighted to receive their prayer that He said, “I will Myself come and personally bless you all!” The devotees in Bengaluru were happy but also a bit anxious too. Coming from a lower middle-class background, they were worried because they did not have the resources to make proper arrangements for Bhagawan’s arrival and stay. Besides, the World War II was on and it was extremely difficult to get any help from anyone. But He assured them saying, “I am coming not to your homes, but to your hearts.” That is what bhajans do to the Lord. Wherever His name is sung with sincerity and devotion, He simply gets drawn to that place and installs Himself there. What is the secret to happiness and fulfilment? How can we achieve it? Bhagawan lovingly exhorts us today. The Gopis knew the secret of spiritual surrender. Their worship was not tainted by any bargaining spirit. For those who bargain and crave for profit, for whom reverence is equated with returns, ‘sell’ homage for a unit satisfactory response. They are like paid servants, bargaining salary, overtime, bonus, etc. They calculate how much they are able to extract for the service rendered. On the other hand, be like a member of the family, a kinsman, a friend. Feel that you are Lord’s very own. Then work will not tire you, it will be done much better, and in fact will yield more satisfaction. And what about the wages? The master will maintain you in bliss. What more can you aspire for? Leave the rest to Him. He knows best; He is all. The joy of having Him is enough reward. 🌻God has endowed you with a body and so every limb and sense-organ is worthy of reverent attention. Each must be used for His glory. The ear must exult when it gets a chance to hear the wonderful tales of God. The tongue must exult when it can praise Him. Else, your tongue is as effective as that of frogs on the marshy bank which croak day and night! An animal (pasu) fears; a beast (mriga) terrifies! Being afraid of someone or something is an animal tendency and bullying others is a demonic tendency. You should have neither! Your human body is gifted to you for a grand purpose – to realise the Lord within. If you own a fully loaded car in good running condition, would you keep it in the garage? Would you not drive it to where you need to go? a beautiful experience of a Sai Student.. It was a cold winter morning during Darshan in Brindavan, Swami walked by me, stared queerly at my face, and then went on His usual round of darshan among devotees, accepting letters and blessing them. I was perplexed, praying and hoping all the while that I had not upset Swami in any way, in thought, word or deed. As I sat on after darshan, I was a troubled bundle of anxiety. And then I saw my commerce professor running towards me, holding something in his hand. As he came to me, he said, “Swami has sent this for you,” and handed me a Ponds cold cream! Apparently, Swami had noticed that I had dry skin because of the weather, so He sent the cream for me in His boundless concern. Even as I stood there choked for words, I learnt from Swami that day something which I consciously try to apply in my daily life – attention to detail! Swami attended to thousands of devotees that day – collecting letters, conferring blessings, bestowing guidance – and yet He had borne in mind my dry skin and sent the cream! What was a parched epidermis in front of a million other pressing concerns for Swami? But that was the affection of the Divine Mother. #sathyasai #saibhaķta

Mas a alegria e o sofrimento devem ser traduzidos em serviço, não deveriam ser meras emoções. Quando o sol nasce, nem todos os lótus no lago florescem. Apenas os botões crescidos abrem suas pétalas.
