It is in fact like keeping your money in the bank. You can withdraw money from your bank account whenever you need. Similarly, when you entrust all your concerns to Bhagawan, you can draw from Him whatever you need. What stands in the way of surrender? It is your ego, your possessiveness and lack of sufficient trust in the Lord! People desperately cling to their possessions saying: “My money, my house, etc.” Sometime or the other your wealth will go. But, once you truly surrender to the Divine, you acquire Lord’s grace. Grace, once earned, will protect you and satisfy all your needs. God does not need your wealth. He is always a Chitta Chora (stealer of hearts), not a vitha chora (stealer of wealth).
