Once in 1961, a Sanyaasi came to puttaparthy. He was very young. He fell at Sai’s feet and asked for HIS blessings for HIS progress in Saadhana. SWAMI told him: ” Enough of Sadhana. Go back to your place. Get employed. Take care of your mother”. The Sanyasi was taken aback. He asked SWAMI as to how he can do so when he has started his penance and tapasya and had progressed a lot. SWAMI told him : ” You may think so. But you have not gained anything by your tapasya. WHATEVER YOU GAINED BY YOUR INTENSE SAADHANA HAS BEEN ALREADY WIPED OUT BY THE TEARS OF YOUR MOTHER ”… Jai Sai Ram #sathyasai #saibhakta
